Programme: Black Sauna

In 2017 WE launched and completed Season 1 of Black Sauna Radio, an online radio programme in partnership with I'm Glad I'm A Girl Foundation, Safe Spaces Jamaica and the Tambourine Army. Black Sauna Radio is largely about engaging in change dialogue that is inherently non-discriminatory, and recognises diversity as divine, an appreciation of which is at the centre of what WE envision as Feminist Futures. The programme seeks to provide a Creative Online Space for Caribbean Feminist Dialogue and Healing. The first season of the programme was funded by the Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID), a partnership that was formed after WE’s participation in the Black Feminisms Forum held in Brazil in 2016.
