Welcome to WE-Change
Join us in advancing gender equality and women's rights in Jamaica.
WE are constantly attempting to meet the vast and various needs of our community from protection from gender-based violence to creating spaces (parties, picnics and townhalls) where people can be themselves around other people living under similar intersections.

Get to Know Us
WE-Change is a feminist advocacy organization committed to the safety, joy and liberation of LBTQ women and non-binary people in Jamaica. Since 2015, WE have been building power through holistic community care, whether by creating safe spaces for gathering and celebration, centering survivors in the fight against gender-based violence, or championing reproductive justice. We are led by and for people who live at the intersections of marginalization and pride, always pushing for a world where care, accountability and freedom are non-negotiable.
OUR MISSION
WE will achieve its objective of a more equitable and just world through employing an intersectional approach to matters of importance to LBTQ women. WE will utilize organizational and engagement strategies that have served the advancement of the global women’s movement over time and bring the voices, strategies and perspectives of a new generation of feminists and women’s rights activists to the table.

We are committed to providing exceptional advocacy and services to advance women's rights in Jamaica.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Our organization actively engages with local communities to raise awareness, provide educational programs, and offer support to women, and gender non-confirming people in need.
CAPACITY & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
